Fifty children come onsite to Kitaa’s specialist daycare centre as day pupils. Twenty are paid for by their families, and there are thirty free places paid for by the Trust in the UK. The whole work is subsidised through UK donations, to pay for teachers, materials, uniforms and nutritious meals. As long as this work can continue, very low-income parents have an opportunity to work and the children get all the benefits of stimulating early education and socialisation which parents in the UK are used to providing for their own children.
It costs just £3 a week to support a whole family through Kitaa Daycare.
